Imanol Agirretxe se ha mostrado muy satisfecho tras renovar su contrato con el club txuri urdin hasta 2018. Ante la cámara de Real Sociedad TV, el de Usurbil ha señalado estar “muy contento, es el club donde quiero estar. Estamos viviendo años muy especiales y quiero seguir disfrutándolos”. El delantero podría sumar ante el Celta su partido número cien en Primera División. “El tiempo pasa rápido y vas sumando cifras importantes. Estoy muy orgulloso de llegar a ellas y seguir aumentándolas”
Agirretxe renueva hasta 2018.

I must say some things about this guy.
I am a big fan of Real Sociedad, and i watch every single game for 10-15 years now. In my time, i haven't see any player that has impresed me more. He wasn't perfect player, but his every move on the field was worth watching. It is hard to explain to anyone who wasn't see him play.
It was so hard for me as a fan to watch him retire, at a very young age for football players..
He was fan favorite, his every goal was special, but special moment for me is that he scored a hat-trick on my birthday. If you don't know how rearly we can see a hat-trick in real sociedad - i witness maybe 3 or 4 for 12 years. Isak scored once, Vela twice i think, and Imanol Agirretxe..
English is not my main language, so i am clearly not a guy who can explain what he did on the field, but i hope that some of you will watch his highlights after you read this. I really want him to not be forgoten, in a football world - there is not players like him. I wish him all the best.
